Welcome to our School!
Welcome to our school website and thank you for taking the time to find out about our school. As a school community, we are incredibly proud of our school and I feel sure you will see this reflected in our website. I thank you for taking the time to find out about us and if you have any questions, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
Our school is one where all staff seek to create a positive atmosphere in which each child feels happy and secure and is allowed to achieve their full potential. An environment where mistakes are seen as positive steps towards reaching our learning goals, with excellence and effort being celebrated together. As a school, we believe in developing the whole child and as such we aim to provide children with an engaging and inspiring curriculum that is enhanced with a variety of additional learning opportunities. We have high expectations of behaviour and our children respond well to the school’s learning powers - the Kirk Sandall 7 - which provide our children with a secure basis for their learning that they both understand and embrace.
We have strong links with parents, as we know that by working together we give our children the best foundations to succeed. There are many opportunities for parents to become involved in the life of the school and they are encouraged to play an active role in their child's education.
Should you wish to visit our school, you are more than welcome and we look forward to seeing you.
